I’m a little out of sorts today, mostly way behind in Blogosphere because yesterday I was MIA due to my annual colonoscopy. This time around the doc did an endoscopy. The bottom line (pun totally intended) is the images looked good but he took few biopsies to keep close tabs on the area that shows sensitivity to my ailment. I haven’t ever gotten an abnormal reading and don’t expect to see anything less than normal this time, too.
My throat is still incredibly dry from not being able to drink anything for so long prior to my procedure and I’m having some sort of allergy flare-up. I want to blame it on the oxygen tube plastic smell. I don’t like it but I suspect I am sensitive to it. I’m sneezing a lot and my nose is dripping like crazy. This isn’t the first time for me to have this problem. Last year when I had my ear tube surgery I experienced the same problems. I hope this clears up today fast. It kept me from sleeping well last night.
Alrighty, I’m excited to take part in Thursday Art Date with Rain. That gal sure comes up with some cool themes. This week we’re to illustrate Ghosts & Ghouls.
I used my iPad Procreate drawing app to create a scary scene for today’s theme. I call this sketch ‘The Lady in White’.
I’m not sure if my next sketch fits the theme but I was compelled to draw the Bride of Frankenstein after seeing Rain’s Frankenstein painting. Let’s just say, her portrayal is a whole lot better than mine. 🙂
I don’t think my Bride of Frankenstein is quite scary or crazy-looking enough but I gave it a shot anyhow. I’m content with my impurrfections for now and will try again another day. 😉
Alright, I made a few quick modifications to my Bride. She’s still doesn’t have that look of terror in her eyes but I do think it’s better. What do you think?
Thanks for stopping in with your coffee for a peek at my masterpiece and …oh yeah for not spilling it on my artwork. 😉 It’s been a super pleasure to share my sprinkle of talent I have with you this morning. 😘 If you like to see what others are bringing to the art play date, then I invite you to high tail it over to Rain’s Garden to browse through the gallery of artistry!
Before I scoot off to do other things let me point out that this month I’m sharing daily classic rock songs from the 70s in the second Rocktober Music Fest #RMF hosted by a good friend, Mary from Jingle Jangle Jungle. If you love mewsic as much as I do then you’re invite you to listen to my short playlist by Creedence Clearwater Revival that I posted earlier this morning. I’ll be back tomorrow with an edition of Friday Fun Stuff chockful of giggles, fill-ins, & more! Come join the fun!
