This is the second annual Roctober Mewsic Festival hosted by Mary from Jingle Jangle Jungle and I’m happy to join along with her in the fun.
This month, I’m revisiting some of the classic 70s mewsicians and songs that either I didn’t catch the artist/band name or just forgot that I loved in my teen year. I hope you’ll stick around to enjoy some lost gems from the past.
Today, we’re gonna sample top rock 70s mewsic inspired by song selections found on this Internet source. Settle in and unwind 40+ years with these fabulous hits of yesterday!
The 70s Rock Mewsic Sample playlist includes these songs in track order: All Right Now by Free, Baby Hold On by Eddie Money, The Boys Are Back in Town by Thin Lizzy, China Grove by The Doobie Brothers, Message in a Bottle by The Police, Free Ride by The Edgar Winter Group, Iron Man by Black Sabbath, Smoke on the Water by Deep Purple, Sultans of Swing by Dire Straits, and Billion Dollar Babies by Alice Cooper.
What songs come to mind when you hear these songs?
Change in plans…At the time I began my posts for this month, I had no idea that DH would need to use some of his vacation time or risk losing it. That being said, I’ll be away from Blogosphere for the most part until bright an early Tuesday morning, Oct. 22. I’ll do my best to boogie with you but if I slip off the dance floor for too long then know I will eventually make by to see you, so save a dance for me.
I hope you’ll travel with me back in time tomorrow with another edition of Rocktober Mewsic Festival!
