This is the final day of the A to Z Challenge with day 26 and the letter ‘Z’. Did you catch what I did with my post title? I incorporated an A to Z subliminal nudge. Although, I didn’t use Africa for my first illustration in this series that would’ve been really cool but the African plains is home to this pair of zebra.
In my pencil sketch I originally drew the zebras more cartoon-like and in my revised sketch I came closer to life-like zebras. More practice is needed to get these animals spot on or should I say “stripe on”? 😀 I duplicated my recreation to apply a noise filter in my Procreate app making the below image grainy. I decreased the exposer level to give the appearance of night falling.
There you have it my Pencil Sketch Inspired Procreate Recreation Art Sketch series. I hope it was fun for you to take another look at my first set of art drawings from 2017 revamped and colorized. I want to offer my apologizes for not being able to make visits. My plan is to catch up next month with those who left comments, responding to and doing return visits. I have one more A2Z contribution to bring together, which I hope to share early next week in my Reflections post. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your day. I’m going to leave you with an oldie, “Africa” by Toto and if you’d like check out other participants from the challenge, you’ll find a complete list post at the A2Z headquarters.
This is CAAC signing off, I’ll be back tomorrow with my newest James Bond Theme Song BOTB Showdown and if you’re around I hope you’ll stop by to cast your vote for your favorite cover artist. This is CAAC signing off, Congratulations for making it to the end!Â
