In keeping with my theme, let’s get our laughs on Sunday Sillies with Weird Al song parodies done to some of today’s most popular songs!

Weird Al is the best!! ever! no one will ever top his parodies. My favourite right now is the Word Crimes one — too funny. But my classic choice would likely be Eat It. He really did MJ well.

Weird Al IS the best! Word Crimes may be my newest favorite of his, too. He really can write the lyrics for his parodies ~ a real genius.

Weird Al is the best parody artist ever. Not only are the parodied lyrics funny, the music is an outstanding recreation of the original song. I guess the first Weird Al song I remember is “Like a Surgeon”.

I agree with you, Lee. Weird Al IS the best parody artist. I haven’t found a recent parody artist who has the same panoache. I believe Eat It was the first song I heard him do, which instantly hooked me.
