During the government forced lockdown, I entertained myself by editing old photos. Some I shared and others didn’t make it. One such image I took in March 2016 on the Foothills Parkway of the Smoky Mountains. The new creation sat in my archived photos for five years, but something didn’t quite right right. It failed to catch my breath. I tired a second time to improve the original.

For anyone interested in casting a vote in my latest Battle of the Band, it posted yesterday. Thanks for visiting and for indulging my photo-play share. Have a wonderful and blessed day, my friends!
Prayers to the Kilmer family. Val was an amazing actor. I really liked him in everything we watched but I especially loved the film The Saint and hoped it would turn into a series of movies. Sadly, it didn’t happen. May you rest in peace!

The mountains are always so pretty! RIP Val Kilmer, wen totally enjoyed his movies, especially tombstone.
I liked him as Doc Holiday!
Lovely photographs, and well enhanced. Cathy!
We liked Val Kilmer from early on. The piece I read only mentioned Top Gun and Batman Forever. I mean, what came to mind for me immediately were Real Genius, Tombstone, Heat, The Doors, Willow, Thunderheart, and Saint. So many others, too. He’s one of my favorites.
Although, we’ve seen both Top Gun flicks his role doesn’t stand out in my memory but he did a fabulous job as Doc Holiday in Tombstone. I think we saw Heat, but I’m entirely sure. I need to watch the trailer to confirm. Did you know that he was a published poet? That’s was unexpected to find out.
Beautiful mountains.
So sad about Val Kilmer. I loved him in Top Gun.
Have a fabulous day and rest of the week. ♥
I had forgotten he was in Top Gun until I read through his movie titles. He did a fantastic job in Tombstone. Did you see it?
