Once upon a time, in a far way kingdom…. Okay, my stories don’t begin this way. However, many of the children’s stories I read to my own kiddos did. In fact, when my first daughter was about a year old, she inspired me to write my first children’s story. That was 21 years ago.
Last night, I woke up with this long forgotten story on my mind. I never felt comfortable with my finished story and then some fresh ideas popped into my sleepy brain. Now that’s its mid-morning, I better harness these thoughts and dash them across my computer screen before they slip away. It’s time to get those old pages out of the file cabinet for some serious rewriting.
