Friday Fill-ins

Friday Fun!

Good day and welcome to another edition of Friday Fill-in statements!

Here’s Hilary’s fill-ins for this week:

  1. I learned how to make chocolate covered cherries  in my friend’s kitchen.
  2. I have always wanted to see the Rockettes in person!
  3. My purse always has a nail file and nail clippers inside one of the pockets.
  4. One day when I am not such a big chicken I am  going to take a plane trip someplace really cool!

The Rockettes are great to see live! I saw them once when I was a kid and again a couple of years ago when they toured and stopped here in Charleston. Just as good as I remembered!
I’d love to learn how to make a candy-type desert like chocolate covered cherries. 🙂

I am not a big fan of flying either. I have had no choice but to get used to it but it is never enjoyable for me. It can however, be worth it upon arrival.

When I lived in NY I worked at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, across the street from Radio City Music Hall. In the summer, the Rockettes would go on the roof of RCMH and sunbath topless. Sorry to say, I saw more of the Rockettes than I cared to.

Loved all your answers! Have a blessed weekend!

What a nice list! I have to laugh at Brenda’s comment about flying and admit that the more I fly it’s much easier, then in the beginning! Now I barely think of it. But did you ever watch the movie French Kiss with Meg Ryan, and think, hmmmm I need to take that class of the fear of flying!

You know it is funny how many people are afraid of flying. I cannot say that I love to fly (I do know some people that do!) in fact I probably loath it… especially now after having flown across the world within a 36 hour span 🙂 …. but those other places the planes can get you to are amazing and so much different than what we are used to here. Definitely worth the hassle!
    Have a great weekend
