Monday's Music Moves Me

Christmas Mewsic Inspired Choices

Thank you for including me in your Monday, Kittens & Dawgs!  My friend, XmasDolly who puts on the Monday’s Music Moves Me ? linky party is a bit short-handed and I volunteered to co-host as long for as long as she needs me.  You’re invited to hit the dance floor.  This month’s theme is Christmas anything!

While visiting fellow bloggers last week, I was moved by the mewsic and so, I decided to share my Christmas Mewsic Inspired Choices from You today!

Ramona from ‘Create With Joy’ shared this beautiful contemporary Christian arrangement.

Transatlantic Orchestra always rocks the season and thanks to Sci-Fi author and fellow blogger Alex J. Cavanaugh for reminding me of this awesome number.  Now, I want to plot how to catch some stupid crooks  or maybe I’ll just watch Home Alone!

I stumbled upon this Romanian song shared by a fellow photographer from the Thought Traveler and you can follow along with the lyrics in English to December, here.

I borrowed the next song pick from fellow BoTBs bud, Robin.

I will close with one of my own inspirational choices from last Christmas by The Piano Guys and David Archuelette (American Idol Season 7 runner-up).

What’s your favorite Christmas mewsic to listen to, contemporary or traditional? ?

I’m taking a break from Blogosphere until after the New Year.  My regular posts are scheduled, so I plan to pop in to respond to comments and do return visits as time permits.  I’m certain you understand and more than likely you’re doing the same thing.  Have a joyous time celebrating the holiday season!

Wow…So lovely post, warm thoughts, beautiful songs and many thanks for sharing all of these with us! My favorite Christmas mewsic? Oh… Like you mentioned above, traditional and contemporary, too, from old folklore to new modern tunes, I think! I love the Elvis singing style, Bing Crosby, too, with “I’m dreaming of a White Christmas”… and to romanian folk songs, of course! I choosed for this week a romanian song about Nativity! Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and lots of joys, good health and good cheer for the New Year, to you and whole family! Have a joyous time celebrating the holiday season, as well! 🙂

Alexa, thank you for popping in for a little Christmas mewsic. I listened to your Romanian Christmas song selection and enjoyed it very much. I decided to embed the vid here for others to enjoy it, too.

Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and lots of joy, good health, and good cheer for the New Year to you & your family, as well!

    Hi, Cathy!

I had a window of time so I just thought I’d drop in to see you today. I needed a spiritual lift because I just learned that one of my high school classmates has died. He and I were on the junior high basketball team together.

I enjoyed your mewsical offerings. I remember watching that Timeless piece by the Transatlantic Orchestra. I saw it last year on Alex’s or someone else’s blog. It’s incredibly powerful to behold. I enjoyed Chris Tomlin’s contemporary Christian song and the Romanian version of “December.” Just think, you and I both posted Romanian music this year. 🙂

I hope you and DH are in good health and in good spirits. I wish you and happiest Christmas ever, dear friend Cathy!

Tom, I’m sorry to hear about your friend. Unfortunately the longer we live the more frequently we’re going to receive sad news. Hopefully, you can reason to celebrate his life and find happiness and love in the warm memories. I hope today’s mewsic filled you with what you needed & I certainly appreciate your visit. I will be by later this afternoon, my friend. Saying prayers for you & your friend’s family.
