Christmas Edition All American Christmas #Brushstrokes

I’m taking life easy as this year winds down.  I just want to enjoy the holiday season for a bit longer. December can feel hurried sometimes with everything going on and even though the pandemic still lingers it didn’t seem to have any effect on the busyness.  I enjoyed our two separate staycations and doing my usual things this month but I always hate when it comes to an end.

For the last Wednesday in 2020, I re-imagined another photograph from my archives. I love how the picture not only has a Christmasy but a patriotic feel with the American flag proudly displayed.

Yesterday, I mentioned we got snow on Christmas eve.  Santa must have ordered the snow to arrive over the city before he got here.  The big fluffy snowflakes transforming our world into a winter wonderland made the night magical until our electricity went out at 10pm, then it was time to go to bed. That has to be the earliest ever we’ve been in bed on Christmas eve.  We woke up to a white Christmas! Isn’t that cool?

Join my #WildWednesdays linky party where just about anything goes! The concept for this mid-week blog hop was conceived as I found myself moving farther away from photography and more toward art. Of course, that’s not what this party is about. You’re invited to share anything – artwork, DIY projects, photos, music, musings, randomness, recipes, and more!

That wraps things up but hopefully if inspiration strikes then you might find me back for  Thursday Art Date with Rain.   Thanks for joining me today and may you have a blessed day! X💋X💋, Cathy
