The past two days I was a bit unhinged with back-to-back doctor appointments. One visit I knew about weeks in advanced, but then my GI told me I needed to have a chest X-ray and TB skin test done each year with the medicine I am on.
Yesterday morning I called my Internal Medicine doctor to set this up. Stunned to learn 2009 was the last time I was in for a yearly. I decided to schedule a complete checkup with Dr.L. Where does the time go? I had anticipated I would have to wait weeks to get in, but luckily there was an opening in the afternoon.
This appointment required fasting. From early morning til after my visit, I didn’t eat anything and only could drink water. I managed to squeeze in a 2-hour ride on my bike and shower before leaving. Then after my doctor’s visit, I had to do grocery shopping. Saying I was busy is a slight understatement. Phew! There is no reason for uneasiness, though. All is well! These were annual checkups that I needed to get out-of-the-way. *sigh of relief* Now, I can relax with no pending doctor visits in my immediate future, other than with my GYN, with summer approaching.
Unfortunately, my untimely routine change yesterday through my blog posting off. So, at the risk of utterly falling to pieces for the A-Z Challenge, I have breathed new life into a past post. This morning’s alphabet prompt with the letter…for Under the Milky Way and Stars!
What’s on your mind this Thursday? That’s simple….I have music on my mind. Ultimately music fills my senses in an uplifting spiral of all things good, especially if the music is….
As a kid, I remember gazing up into the nightly sky and seeing distant sights of beauty like the ones above. I wonder what was beyond the Milky Way, was it the gateway to another world?
In the Disney children’s classic, The Lion King, Mufasa and Simba talk under the stars.
“Really?”
Mufasa’s sentiments gives comfort, but as a child of the One true King then I know only He watches from afar over His own and not pass earthly Kings. I think this writeup compliments Our Universe post from 2012. Feel free to re-read or read it for the first time today.
- When was the last time you looked at the night sky?
Do you take part in witnessing first hand special heavenly events such as Comet ISON?

I am glad everything went okay with your tests. At least that is over! Soon A-Z will be.
