You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet

Welcome to Monday’s Music Moves Me on Sundays!  This week’s theme if you’d like pick your favorite rock band/song from any decade to share with us

In 1974, the Canadian rock band Bachman Turner Overdrive released “You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet”.  They had a couple of hit that came out close together and I can’t remember which one brought BTO to my attention first but anytime I think of one of my earlier favorite rock bands then this song always comes to mind.  Not wanting to short change anyone, I found a playlist of their greatest hits for your pleasure. Crank up your speakers, hit play, and settle back to enjoy the music!

Remember music themes are only suggestions.  I don’t care one way or another.  The important thing is to share whatever music moves you. Now, it’s your turn!

This is a music link up.  Your post must contain at least one song or your URL is marked “No Music”.

We got back home yesterday, exhausted and happy.  Today is a day of total relaxation.  I’ll be official back in Blogosphere next week ready to catch up with y’all.  Until then, have a boogietastic week!

This is a colorized replica of my original pencil sketch from 2017 that I illustrated with Procreate before using Brushstrokes to create a painting-like image and for a final touch is I loaded in my Distressed FX app to use the Blithe distress background and the Alfred bird overlay.

Love your sketch. Beautiful You’re so talented.

Thank you for hosting the fun.

Have a fabulous MMMM and week. Love and hugs, my friend. ♥

  3. As much as I enjoyed some of my favorite BTO songs (especially Let It Ride), the Peanuts video of Roundabout by Yes was the winner this week. This was my first introduction to Garren Lazar and it was so well done that I’m putting one of his other videos on my post for tomorrow.

    1. You know, I don’t even remember that Peanuts’ video being in this set but it’s a fun clip and I’m glad you said something. 🙂

  4. Well you got me dancing
..BTO such a blast and so danceable! I also love your painting.
Hope you enjoyed your break welcome home 💜💜

  5. Well, I started leaving a comment and then the site just snatched it away from me unexpectedly. That partial comment might be in your spam folder, but I guess I’m not going to finish it not knowing what happens to my comments here.

  6. Not my favorite band of that era, but I did see them in concert. They were the opening band for K

    1. Oh here’s that missing comment. I was just going to say BTO opened for Kansas which was the band I really wanted to see except I had a date with me who wanted to leave early because the music was hurting her head. That was our only date.

      1. Lee,

My site is acting weird. I’m sorry for the trouble. I hope to get some of the bugs that I know about ironed out but it’s going to take time.
