#WW Country Road

Take me home country road. This isn’t a country road in WV; it’s just off the Blue Ridge Parkway on the Virginia end.

Thanks for joining the fun. Check back for more views with Skywatch Friday.

    1. Claudia, When I shot this picture I forgot to adjust my exposure; the original is way too dark, but I loved the whole scene ~ winding road, autumn colors,…. I’m SO thankful for photo-editing! I am usually able to savage some good shots that I otherwise would have to send to trash.

  1. beautiful road! I just love that feeling of driving down the white line and seeing a beautiful landscape laid out before you. You can see what waits up ahead and the anticipation to get up close is great. And then the next scenes are just as beautiful — driving on country roads is awesome.
Okay – it took me a few seconds to get the penguin comic. LOL

    1. Les, we pulled off the parkway to get one picture when I saw this shot. Beautiful is all around us, if we look for it. I love quiet drives through the mountains or out in the country, especially in the fall. I love how he falling leaves dance to the ground. It reminds me of snow without the cold. 😀

    1. Dominique, yes autumn is really here. Unfortunately, most of the trees have shed their leaves now. The seasonal change is growing more evident and soon as we accept it, then it’ll change again. lol Thanks for visiting!
