      Thanks for the Mother’s Day wishes. It was quietly spent at home. The kids sent their well wishes which was nice and we called to wish my mom a good day. 🙂

      I did the same when I spotted the snail comic and knew I had to share it. I’m glad everyone is getting a giggle from it, too.

      I actually thought Iggy would do better than he did but I missed the mark on this one. I felt his vocals added such character to the song. I guess it’s just a matter of how something registers with the brain and it didn’t register well with most. Thanks for popping by!

    I am pleasantly surprised to learn the outcome of your latest band battle, dear friend! After I and a few others voted for The Specials on day one, I couldn’t help sneaking a peek at the comments and votes that were coming in later in the week. It looked like the tide was turning and Iggy was headed for a big win. It just goes to show it’s never over till its over. I appreciate your Friday Sillies meme on Saturday. I think it helps to be a little crazy. It makes life more fun and interesting and prevents us from taking ourselves or life too seriously.

      I had hoped the battle would’ve been a bit tighter and at one point I was fearful no one would vote for Iggy but then things changed, not enough for him to ever take the lead, though. I rather like his version but if I were voting would I have given him mine? I’m not sure but I do like his cover. Crazy weird is okay with friends. Crazy ha-ha might not be, though. You’re right the differences friends bring to your world is what makes life fun and there’s too much seriousness going on so I’ll take crazy over stiff and boring any day. 🙂
