Vol.4 March Friday Round-up

Hello, Kittens & Dawgs! This month is marching right off the calendar, isn’t it? The good news is it’s spring time again which I’m very happy about. Now, if Mother Nature will only get her act together!

Today’s SWF contribution, I used Pixelmator on the photo I shared Wednesday by increasing the contrast making the trees a silhouette in the foreground and then I added a starry background (freebie resource found at Pixabay) to jazz up my original image, which I really liked.

What do you think?

I’m linking with the family of photo enthusiasts from around the globe on Skywatch Friday!

Next Friday, the April A-Z Challenge begins and I hope you’ll join me in my month long commitment as I will share my rusty but budding artistic abilities with a daily sketch.  Okay, that’s a wrap for now but don’t forget to hit the dance floor with me (mewsic theme – Sci-Fi Movie and/or TV series) on Mondays Mewsic Moves Me!

Until next time, have a laughtastic weekend!

I’ll return to my regular Friday social connections in June but I invite you to join these fine bloggers if you’re looking for inspiration, friendship or to build your social media network.

    1. Ken, Pixelmator is a good photo-editing app for someone learning like me. Thanks for popping by and I’m delighted you enjoyed the sillies. Have a good afternoon!

  1. So, Cathy, you are another one of those very talented people that know what they’re doing when it comes to editing photos!!! I’m not so at this point, I am jealous (even though I’m not supposed to be)…loved the cleaning rules…LOL…:)JP

    1. JP, well thank you! I don’t know if I know what I’m doing or just plain lucky. lol But, I do enjoy playing with photog-editing techniques. I bet ya can do it, too! Thanks for visiting. 🙂

    1. Selma, the background really gave the original image sky view a richer color depth. I really the photo-edit job if I say so myself! 🙂

    1. Thank you, Stevenson! It does look like a night sky, doesn’t it? It was actually a slightly hazy but sunny day in the original image. Isn’t photo-editing cool?
