Vacation Music

Another weekend bites the dust, kittens & dawgs! This month, I told you I’m unofficially off the net and have returned visits as promised, but for the next two weeks I’m place my interactive status on hold. Why? DH & I are officially enjoying vacation time together, at home. Who can afford to actually “take” a vacation? Not me!

Before you lace up your blue suede shoes, let me make a quick announcement. Oct. 1st BOTB winner by a landslide is The Outlaws. The next BOTB volume goes live this Wednesday at 5am. Okay, it’s time to dance freebie style. This is my vacation time, so I thought yeah, songs about vacation. That’s gotta be fun, right?

We may not be on a REAL vacation, but that’s okay. I have no worries. Of course when I think vacation the first thing that comes to mind is National Lampoon’s Vacation and that always makes me smile.

Vacation or stay-cation, it makes no difference what you call or it or how you spend time away from the regular grind. I find that a sense of carefree washes over my mind and it makes me wanna dance in the streets!

I will miss you while I’m away, but life is good spent alone with DH! Until then, what music moves you this morning?
