Tunes to relax the soul + #BoTB results

Posted on January 23, 2017
Pillow Melody (Native America: Native American Flute & Keyboard)

Thank you for including me in your Monday, kittens & dawgs! ? My friend, XmasDolly who puts on the Monday’s Music Moves Me ? linky party is a bit short-handed and I volunteered to co-host as long for as long as she needs me.  You’re invited to hit the dance floor.

Linky Tools subscription expired. List not available.

My mewsic pleasure is all over the place sometimes. This morning I felt a bit mellow and felt the beautiful native American flute mewsic fit what I needed which led me down the path to finding suitable tunes to relax the soul.

Enjoy this 26-song playlist while writing, drawing, reading, napping, relaxing, cleaning, or visiting other blogs.

[Beautiful Soundtracks] Roger St. Denis – Perfect Tranquilty

One more thing, if you’re the creative type and looking for more memes to connect with then Impulsive Artistry hosts the Monday meme Feeling Inspired? where you can share your photography, crafts, mewsic, and more posts.   What mewsic are you listening to lately? ?

In my Sunny with a touch of Soul #BoTB showdown between Stevie Wonder and the James Brown and Mara Whitney duet, there was no contest.  So, there’s no wonder that the winner is Stevie Wonder (15 to 1) which includes my vote for Mr. Wonder. Thanks Debbie for making sure my battle wasn’t a shutout! 🙂

This is Curious as a Cathy signing off with a touch of soothing Wonder for your soul.

You Are the Sunshine of My Life ~ Stevie Wonder

I hope to see y’all back for not-so Wordless Wednesday!

I love Native American music! It’s so beautiful. I have several CDs in my collection that I listen to, not often enough…
Glad to see Stevie Wonder won…and so glad you didn’t have a shut-out!
Thanks for including his You Are the Sunshine of My Life. Perfect way to start my Saturday!

Some of the music in that list sounds as though it could have a binaural background. Great stuff!

John, I don’t know anything about mewsic use in deep relaxation therapy. I’m like if it sounds good then I go with it. Thanks for stopping by for listen and I hope my mewsic selections didn’t make you nod off. 🙂

Geez, I didn’t think the battle would be that one-sided. LOL Stevie Wonder is a great talent, but I liked him better as a kid, when he was billed as “Little Stevie” Wonder. Thanks for the lovely, soothing sounds, above. Have a great week!

    Hi, Cathy!

I enjoyed your native American flute mewsic and the other tunes to relax the soul. They really do the job. Every one of us should listen to that type of mewsic on a daily basis to relax, cleanse the palate and rid ourselves of negative thoughts and feelings.

I saw a landslide coming in your BOTB. Stevie Wonder gave us a Stevie Wonderful cover of “Sunny” and I am happy to know that most people’s ears matched mine including yours. Last evening Mrs. Shady and I were delighted to hear Stevie’s hit “Uptight” used in the soundtrack of the hit TV series This Is Us, a show that she and I highly recommend.

Thank your very much for reporting the battle results, dear friend Cathy, and have a super week!

      Steve,

I’m sorry the first vid didn’t work in the UK. I found another similar mewsic vid by a different composure/artist that’s enjoyable if you’re interested in listening to or anyone else.

Thanks for stopping by this morning, my friend and have a good week!

We're looking for embedded music to enjoy, one song or several. On the off weeks, we dance to whatever music moves you (your choice)! It's just that easy. Have fun and welcome to the party!
