Thursday 2Q Blog Hop

In my Shoe Fetish, I mentioned my fondness for footwear.  Since it’s Thursday, it’s time to link up with Self Sagacity to play T2Q.

My questions this week are:

1.  Do you have a favorite pair of shoes, if so what are they?
2.  Where do you like shopping for shoes?

 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My favorite classic pumps are my white ones. I’d wear them all them all the time if I could but since they changed the design I am picking on when to wear them. My next favorites are my bronze classic pumps. They really look snazzy with a variety of apparel. Plus, it gives my feet a hint of sparkle.
I’m borderline crazy when it comes to shopping for bargains, including getting the best deal on shoes.  The first thing I do is decide what kind of shoe I need to buy.  I have a couple of good online resources for different types of footwear. Next, I check with Ebates to see if I can save money going through their portal at the site I’ve chosen. Here are my favorite online shoe sellers:  For sneakers, I like East Bay Outlet. Over the past, I’ve bought brand name sneakers for myself under $30.  My dress shoes that I’m really nuts about are getting tricky to find. Keep in mind, DH LOVES to shop for me and every pair of heels I own, he’s picked out.  The best place to get classic pumps is Newport News. They are reasonably priced. Unfortunately, they changed the design and we no longer like them and won’t be buying from them again anytime soon unless they go back to the classic design we like best. Nowadays, we casually shop at various stores such as The Shoe Dept, to see what they have.  They don’t have pumps I like but generally can find pretty sandal high heels. It’s hard to pick out anything new that makes our eyes light up.  I believe he’s bought all the good stuff ever made and possibly will make!
You don’t have to have a shoe fetish to love shoes. Don’t forget to leave a comment.  I love hearing from you!!! 🙂 You can join the Thursday Two Question fun by visiting SelfSagacity and linking up!
  1. I loved going barefooted as a young girl and still adore having my feet unencumbered so the closer to natural a shoe is the better I love it. I wear an 11W so finding comfortables shoes is not easy. I usually luck up at Payless as they have sizes all the way up to 12W.
    Thanks so much for your visit. I could not post the comment as it contained a link.
  2. Oooh, this post is so pretty with all the pinks! I love it!
    My favorite feet dressing is either my flip flops or my Uggs boots. They re so comfortable.
    My favorite place to buy is Nordstrom. Other than that it has to be DW.
  3. @Lui…yeah, I should have photographed my shoes. That would’ve been so cool. It was just easier to Google images. Maybe another time I can do this.
    @SquirrelQueen…I love cowboy…oops cowgirl boots, too. My DH bought me the cutest pair for Valentine’s Day several years back. They are gorgeous and I try to wear them as often as I can during the cooler months.
    @Blogger Broadcast…thanks for stopping by. The pumps I used in this post aren’t mine, but I have many different colors: pink, cream, white, brown, bronze, silver, black, brown, navy blue, and red. All of these colors go great with so many different outfits.
    @SelfSagacity…I bet you have adorable feet. I wear a size 6. Others, always comment how small, they are, but I know some ladies have smaller feet. At least you have a spot to look.
    @Luna Miranda…your post came through. Thanks for visiting yesterday!
  4. 1) I’m very picky when it comes to shoes, so I only have two favorite pairs for winter, and 2 pair of sandals.2) I usually go to Burlington Coat factory, or Famous Footwear.
  6. I might have had a favorite pair of shoes when I was single. but these days as a mother I just grab what’s handy!
    And I don’t shop for shoes anymore. I do window shop though 🙂
  8. 1) I have a hard time finding shoes since my feet are so small, but I do love them, especially the name brands and gorgeous shoes I see in Nordstrom.
    2) I buy my shoes now at Nordstrom and DSW.
  10. I love and adore shoes but my favorites are actually boots. Weird I know but I love them.
    My favorite places for shoes are Macy’s and online at Endless.com. I do wait until they are on sale however.
  11. Hi Cathy! I wished you showed your fave shoes in photographs! I made a post about some of them on a photo challenge about shoes.
    I love shoes too because I love walking! I think all my shoes are my favorites 😉 but since they don’t last long, I try to use them often.
    You are lucky to have somebody buy shoes for you and fit right. I have to shop personally since I needed to feel good about the size and fit before I buy!
    Have a great walking week!
  13. 1- Favorite pair would be Sass flats. Had torn a tendon in my foot a few years back and can’t wear heels anymore.
    2- Usually at Shoe outlets but I have 4-5 pairs and that’s plenty for me. Not really a shoe person.
