In last week’s 3-way battle The World Is Not Enough Showdown, it was clear from the get-go where this one was going. It wasn’t until Tuesday that I realize that contender #3 wasn’t a male vocalist. I don’t know what I was smoking…oh wait, I don’t smoke. I don’t know what I was drinking…oh wait, I don’t drink. I don’t what I was taking…oh wait, I don’t do drugs. Well, I don’t have a vise I can blame for the screwy workings of my brain but if you were confused then don’t feel bad cause it was my fault. Anyway back to the results…oh wait, you know who won already, right? Of course you do. Let’s give it up for Peter Jöback!

Special thanks to each of you for doing your civic duty by making your voices heard in this Battle of the Bands in picking the winner. 👏 It certainly makes putting these posts together tons more fun to have y’all participate. The next Battle of the Bands is August 1st . Please mark your calendar to return for the fun.
I’ll be back with the Sunday edition of Monday’s Music Moves Me. You’re invited to join the party. The theme is in honor of our honorary co-hostess’ daughter’s upcoming 30th birthday. She’s requesting that we build our music around the year we celebrated the same milestone. This is CAAC signing off, have a funtastic weekend! X💋X💋, Cathy

I really enjoyed his sound.
Mimi,
I think he did a great job with the James Bond Theme song. Thanks for visiting, my dear!
I ran with the pack on this round. But Peter really was the best.

Tossing It Out
Lee,
Thanks for stopping by to see how things went down in this round. Have a good week, my friend!
CAThy, like me, you had a Battle blowout. But at least we averted shutouts.
I think that, generally, doing a 3-Way Battle tends toward a close outcome; more choices means greater parity. But nothing is ever absolutely certain, and especially when it comes to BOTB.
At any rate, it was a cool contest, and I shall return for the next one.
Bless And Be Blessed!!

STMcC Presents BATTLE OF THE BANDS
Stephen,
I really didn’t expect this showdown to be a blowout but then again I never know what might happen. I am happy it wasn’t a shut out. That would’ve been a bummer.
Looks like most liked the winner. It’s amazing how folks can listen to a song and some love it and others don’t.
Have a fabulous day and weekend, Cathy. Love and hugs. ♥
Yep, sure is! Thanks for dropping in to learn the results, my dear. 😉
Oh wow! You counted my hubby’s vote. Thank you for that. I guess it was a blow out but that doesn’t matter because it’s always fun to listen to. You and I are in the same brain wave because I often make boo boos and think I smoked one or drank something but I chalk it up to menopause:)
Birgit,
Any time your hubby wants to get in on the action, just say so I’ll log his vote. 😉 I try to do this anytime someone tells me in comments. I’ve been making a lot of boo boos lately. I guess it’s because I’m stretched too thin, trying to give everything my all and something is bound to suffer.
Hi, Cathy!
Thanks for reporting the result of your July 1 band battle. Yessum, based on day one voting, the outcome seemed clear. I’m glad so many other ears agreed with mine. The bonus song by Peter further solidifies my impression of him as a vocalist. I like him.
I hope you are well and having a great week. I’ll be back Sunday to listen and learn when you present 4M Monday on Sunday. Have a splendid day, dear friend Cathy!
Tom,
Indeed everyone was definitely on the same page as you this round. I was rather surprised even though I also felt Peter was the stronger contender to see the votes practically all going to him. At least the other two contestants got some votes. 🙂
