Yves Jean #music

Good-morning, kittens and dawgs. I’m trying to find my place again in Blogosphere sharing a little something every day. I thought it was time to present another new-to-me artist with you.

Today’s singer dropped in my inbox after he started following me on Twitter. I don’t always follow someone back unless I feel a connection and that’s what I got after sampling his music.

Yves Jean, pronounced Eve John, the son of a Haiti immigrant hails from The Bronx, Harlem, and Yonkers community of New York City Growing up in the inner city with all the pit falls many young black youths fall into, he looked for ways to avoid trouble through basketball and eventually he took up playing the bass guitar at 17.

After college, he spent his life savings and graduation money on a five song demo project turning his passion into a lifestyle spanning 12 years offering the listener a journey with his manifold of Pop, Rock, Soul, Jazz, Folk, Classical, Electronic, and World Beat melodies.

Kindly listen to these three tracks by Yves Jean.
