Good morning Kittens and Dawgs! I’m kicking off the first full week of December with the Spirit of Christmas starting with Ray Charles!
If you’re a fan of National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation then you’ll recognize this touching song. The first time I heard this, it brought tears to my eyes. How about you?
Once Thanksgiving passes, then I can’t help but get That Christmas Feeling (Perry Como). Do you?
When it comes right down to it, There’s No Place Like Home for the Holiday with the ones I love and I know you feel the same way.
Do you have a fond Christmas memory you’d care to share? Did you carry any of your parents’ traditions over to your own? What’s the last Christmas song you listened to prior to visiting me?
I hope you enjoyed this morning’s Christmas mewsic and I appreciate you making me a part of your Monday morning. Also one special announcement, I offered to fill in as co-host for Monday’s Music Moves Me with XmasDolly for as long as she needs me.
This month’s theme is “Christmas anything”! This is our last full week together before DH starts his new job next week, so I’ll do my level best to respond and make return visits in-between our activities.
Over the weekend we watched the second chapter in Dolly’s Smoky Mountain Christmas memories on NBC and her song, Circle of Love touched my heart deeply.
That’s it for today, don’t forget to join me for not-so Wordless Wednesday!
