Google announced some time ago GFC would disappear on non-blogger sites on March 1st. No worries, right? That’s what I thought until I began reading bloggers began saying GFC would vanish at some point in the future. At the rest of loosing my lovely friends who have joined me through GFC, I’ve taken the liberty of adding the Linky Follow widget in my right side bar. Would you pretty pleeease, take a teeny second of your time to join me? I’m going to make a conscience effort at spotting the Linky widget and begin joining through this connection gate to each of your blogs.
GFC disappeared off non-bloggers sites’, right? Did you know some bloggers reported their GFC widget disappeared, too? If you’re one of the unfortunate bloggers to be stricken then here is a forum to log your complaint .
Yesterday I did a bit of rambling in Monday post. You may want to consider adding these two memes, if you haven’t already. I’m trying to organizing my blog hopping a wee tat. I think last week I had a better grip of things. Although this is only the second day of this week, I feel like I don’t have handle on my blogging. When will I ever get this figured out?
What did you have for dinner last night? I made a pot of potato soup with Johnsonville New Orleans style andouille sausage. Mmm, is it ever good, too! I concocted my own recipe. Would you like to know how to make this?
New Orleans Style Andouille Sausage Potato Soup
Ingredients:
7-8 med. potatoes, peeled and diced
4 carrots, peeled and sliced
1 large onion, chopped
2 celery stalks, chopped
2 cans of evaporated milk
2 packages of Johnsonville New Orleans Andouille sausage, cut in bite sizes
salt, pepper, celery seed, and parsley
Place prepared veggies and andouille sausage into a large pot. Add enough water to cover contents. Spice to taste. Cook on medium heat for 10-15 minutes till veggies are tender. Add evaporated milk. Mix 2 tablespoons of cornstarch in half a cup of water, then add to soup. This will thicken the broth. Continue to cook for another 10-15 minutes. Serve soup with corn bread and enjoy!
Johnsonville has a recipe section, if you’re interested in other dishes.
Xbox news, I downloaded my free trial of Zumba Fitness Rush by Majesco. I love the first Zumba Fitness workout! I may be premature in my assessment, but from the tiny segment I was privy to participate in then lets just say it didn’t inspire me to spend $50 for the game.
The avatar in Zumba Rush was expressionless and movements stiff. I don’t want to feel like I’m exercising with a video game, but more like I’m exercising with real people. Zumba Fitness has more life-like graphics. The avatars lip the words to the songs and their movements are more real. Why didn’t they do this with Zumba Rush?
As I said, maybe I’m jumping the gun in my judgement, but I think these gaming companies who are trying to entice the consumer with their products need to go a step further with their trial downloads. Perhaps, make them a little longer or offer a little more variety or even the option to purchase a trial run for a day of a complete routine. They are the genius software designers. This is totally doable. Why don’t they? I’m more likely to buy the DVD version of this routine before I’ll purchase this game given my limited experience. I hope you’re listening Majesco!
On MMMM, I featured a new instrumental group my son introduced me to. The four young talented beautiful ladies of Escala play contemporary rock classical tunes. The best of both worlds in one sound. Listen!

Hooking up with RoryBore. This week’s theme is confessions. While I have nothing earth shattering to confess, I can confess this.
- I spend entirely too much time in Blogville.
- I need to drop at least 10 pounds.
- I love Cheerios’s, but rarely buy them.
- I’m not an organized person.
- I’m clueless why I have the world’s best husband.
- My children are all grown up and I can’t get my babies back again. This makes me sad! 🙁
That’s all folks, y’all have a good day!
