Hello, my lovely Kittens & Dawgs! I hope y’all had a fatastic Thanksgiving! For many, this is a long weekend and hopefully, you’re not too beat from all the shopping today to enjoy a few laughs with a little Thanksgiving Day humor.
Speaking of breasts…
Today, I’m sharing my photo contribution with the SWF team of photo enthusiasts. Last Friday while semi-celebrating with DH after he accepted a job offer and we decided to look at some homes for future possibilities at which this new position turns into a permanent work status. Maybe next year this time we’ll be our dream home! I snapped this picture (iPhone5s) behind the DQ in Farragut (near west Knoxville). It’s an old home that’s been converted to either apartments or office space. I’m not sure but I just loved the last bit of fall color clinging to the tree against a rich blue sky!
I’ve got one more Skywatch photo for you. The day after the Supermoon, we were running errands. I needed to get some supplies for a special project I have in mind to do for some special people. Anywho, I caught the Supermoon low on the horizon with my iPhone5s. What I really need is the iPhone7s with two built-in digital lens. It would have no problem turning this photo into something amazing even in my hands. lol
Let’s continue the fun with Friendly Fill-Ins with Annie and Ellen. Every Thursday four fun and easy blank statements are posted for us to borrow, complete, and share on our site. The point is to simply have fun linking, reading, and meeting others who enjoy this sort of thing.
Here’s my response to this week’s fill-ins:
- Yesterday, we spent a lovely morning enjoying freshly baked cranberry pumpkin bread with soft cream cheese while watching portions of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade, then the rest of the afternoon we relaxed in front of TV watching football before having our feast later in the evening.
- Whenever I receive something that I can’t find a use for (this isn’t very often) I like to regift that item to someone who I think is a better suit for it.
- My favourite holiday leftover is everything! I like to serve our Thanksgiving dinner all weekend long or longer depending on how well I can stretch the meal.
- The best part of a long, holiday weekend is typically just being able to relax and unwind with DH but with him out of work (thankfully he has a new job which starts sometime soon) then things are different. However, it’s still nice to have the time to spend with DH regardless.
I’m joining Lexa in Celebrate The Small Things. Here’s my list of celebrations!
