Rain’s theme this week is Crisp and Brilliant. She offered some excellent examples which spurred me in the right direction. I wanted to use ‘Brillant’ and immediately famous sculpture of The Thinker came to mind. Do you know who the artist was? I didn’t but Wikipedia informed me the sculpture was Auguste Rodin. Between the weekly prompt and Rodin’s art, I was inspired to illustrate ‘She Thinks’.
The arms need a little modifying but for now I’ll go with the sketch. Perhaps when time permits I can revamp it a wee bit. That’s the beauty of using a drawing app, I can redo my work a thousand times without the normal frustrations of pencil but I do enjoy working with real art tools.
Thanks for stopping in with your coffee for a peek at my masterpiece and …oh yeah for not spilling it on my artwork. 😉 It’s been a super pleasure to share my sprinkle of talent I have with you this morning. 😘 If you like to see what others are bringing to the art play date, then I invite you to high tail it over to Rain’s Garden to browse through the gallery of artistry!
Tomorrow is DH’s off Friday and have decided to skip my Friday Sillies post but instead include a few giggles in for you. My She Thinks art got me to thinking and I found these what my cat think she looks like sillies.
Don’t forgot you hit the dance floor with Monday’s Mewsic Moves Me on Sunday with songs inspired by, performed by or about Native Americans. Have a good weekend!
