Part 3: My 25 Favorite Male Actors

Good-morning, kittens & dawgs! Thanks for joining me for Part 3: My 25 Favorite Male Actors; you’re welcome to read Part 1 and Part 2, if you want to see who made my list already. Everyone needs a little Bond…James Bond that is in their lives.

James Bonds

The British spy 007 has changed faces six times over the years, but no one does it better than Sean Connery.

I’ve loved nearly every film featuring Sir Connery. Some of my favorites include Outland, The Untouchables, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, The Hunt For Red October, and The Rock.

While Connery is my all-time favorite Bond, I am partial to Pierce Brosnan. I pegged him for the role when I first met him on the early 80s TV show.

I loved his playful boyish charm in this role. It wasn’t until he took on the James Bond character in GoldenEye I saw how natural he was as a more serious actor. He’s a man of many talents, but one of my favorites is Dante’s Peak; a movie I highly recommend.

Which Bond character do you love and why? Do you have a favorite James Bond movie?

Two of my next favorite actors starred together in several movies over the years. The flicks I enjoyed them most is was…

grumpy-old-men

Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau play Grumpy Old Men VERY well! This movie and the sequel had me rolling in the floor. The script is well written, but the way Lemmon and Matthau talent delivery seemed purely genuine and great fun.

What movies do you like staring this Odd Couple?

The last actor on my list today started his film career in 1969. However, I don’t think I knew who he was until the early 80s as The Terminator.

Arnold Schwarzenegger was great in The Terminator movies and is immensely talented more so than I first gave him credit. He does action/adventure to comedy equally well. My favorite Schwarzenegger flicks are Commando, The Eraser, Predator, Twins, Kindergarten Cop, The Expendable movies, and Escape Plan. I really want to see the Terminator Genisys and have it on my iTunes Wish List.

What movie introduced you to Schwarzenegger?

Please, come back next week for part four of My 25 Favorite Male Actors.
