Welcome to the Sunday edition of Monday’s Music Moves Me. Tomorrow begins another a new month and on the dance floor we’re happy to have Patrick from Adventures in Weseland as honorary host for August. He gets the privilege to share with us his theme choices every other week but this Monday we’re boogieing to whatever music moves me. I’m strolling back in time listening to songs that somehow slipped past my ear in 1991 with these 15 Pop Chart Hits!
15 Pop Chart Hits from 1991
- Crazy ~Seal
- Here I Am (Come And Take Me) ~UB40
- Fading Like A Flower ~Roxette
- I’ve Been Thinking About You ~Londonbeat
- Just Another Dream ~Cathy Dennis
- Miles Away ~Winger
- The One And Only ~Chesney Hawkes
- Piece of My Heart ~Tara Kemp
- Place In This World ~Michael W. Smith
- Rhythm of My Heart ~Rod Stewart
- Silent Lucidity ~Queensryche
- Too Many Walls ~Cathy Dennis
- Touch Me (All Night Long) ~Cathy Dennis
- The Way You Do The Things You Do ~UB40
- You’re in Love ~Wilson Philips
I’m fairly sure most if not all of these songs didn’t hit my radar and some of the artists, like Cathy Dennis I absolutely do not remember whatsoever. In the early years of motherhood, I rarely listened to the radio for which I blame not remembering these songs. The good news is I’m finally catching up!
This is a music linky party. Your co-hostess are Stacy, Alana, and Me. Every other week we have a suggested music theme (see weekly prompts here) to build your song set around and all participants share YouTube or Vimeo videos for our music enthusiasts. Failure to meet this basic guideline puts your URL in danger of being removed or labeled – NO MUSIC.
Stop by tomorrow for my newest Battle of the Bands in my James Bond Theme Song series. This is CAAC signing off, have a boogietastic week! 🤗💋 to you, Cathy
