Crazy

I remember when, I remember, I remember when I lost my mind…

Last week was crazy and full of sadness but even in sorrow, I find a need to celebrate the memories of those who made my life a little richer with that individual’s contributions. Don’t you?

The text alert announcing Robin Williams death last Monday evening, left my brain paralyzed for a nano-second and no doubt you felt the same. To honor the man, I want to remember him through song.

The first big screen movie I went to see Robin Williams in was Popeye.

Being a Disney animated movie freak of sorts, we bought our little kiddies Aladdin. Robin Williams did not fail to entertain the troops with his vocal performance as the Genie.

As a long-time Looney Tunes fan, I discovered this and wanted to share it with you, Elmer Fudd singing, Fire.

If you’re Beatles’ fan, then this rendition is sure to put a smile on your face.

Robin Williams’ talent never ceased to amaze me.

One of the most enjoyable and enduring movies with Williams has to be Mrs. Doubtfire.

So much talent and laughs now gone! Thank you for the smiles. You will be missed. Nanu-Nanu! #RIPRobinWilliams1951-2014

The second unexpected, but not quite the shell shocker news was of the passing of the glamorous and classy dame ~ Lauren Bacall!

Who can forget Lauren Bacall with her on-screen and real life love affair with Humphrey Bogart in Key Largo.
