This is the last full week in April. There’s nothing slow about this month. It’s disappearing streaking fast! With that, we’re on the letter ‘S’ which immediately brought to mind two characters for today’s sight-only with no instructions illustration, Sebastian and Scuttle.
Sebastian is a Jamaican crab who serves King Triton as his right hand-fish and is tasked to keep Ariel out of trouble. Good luck with that, I say. He’s also the under the sea mewsic composer and performer. In my second BoTB this month, I used ‘Under the Sea’ sang by voice-over actor Samuel E. Wright.
Scuttle is a silly seagull who’s the resident know-it-all but in truth knows very little especially on matters regarding the human world. When asked what a fork is, he called it a ‘dinglehopper’ which is used for combing the hair.
Do you care to take a guess who the voice-over actor is for Scuttle? If you don’t know, then don’t feel bad because I didn’t either and found it interesting to learn that it’s the voice of Buddy Hackett.
Don’t forget to leave a breadcrumb (direct post URL) in comments so I might find my way easily to you. I have a dental appointment today but not to worry I’ll do return visits early in the morning. I’m heading off to link up with other fellow AtoZers. You’re invited to come along and be sure return tomorrow for the next installment in my Little Mermaid Artsketch Series! X💋X💋, Cathy
