We had a beautiful sunrise in East Tennessee yesterday morning. The wisps of clouds remind me a bit of cotton candy, how about you?

I made progress on my Monday Listicles of 10 Random things I plan to do.
This is what I did yesterday….
- I got our Christmas tree taken down and put away
- I rode my bike for 60-minutes
- kept my calories at 1000
- washed all of our bedding
- and have sorta figured out a way to bring together multiple memes into three blog posts per/week.
I am feeling pretty accomplished at the moment. YAY, me!
DS and his girlfriend broke up. I liked his girlfriend, but sometimes blessings are in disguise. It may not seem that way now, but God will show all things in His time. Perhaps, they can be good friends still. Relationships can be tricky. I know God has a specific purpose for my son and my prayer is that he will look to Him for direction always.
This morning I caught another gorgeous sunrise while taking the trash to the curb. It’s interesting how a few hours in the morning can make in the morning sky…

It’s going to be another glorious spring-like day, but the return of wintry weather will move in tomorrow with the cold & snow. The high temperatures is forecast for the mid-30s to low 40s for the next five days and night-time lows in the 20s and 30s for the next 8-days. UGH!
At least in RoryBore’s neck of the woods where our night-time lows are her day-time highs. No, thank you…I am perfectly good where I am. Speaking of, let’s join Time Out For Mom to see what this week’s coffee chat prompt is.
The one thing I will do differently this year is to work more strength training into my routine. Here’s your tip for the day: Don’t take for granted the lean muscle mass you have when you’re young! It has a way of rapidly depleting if you don’t work your muscles. That old saying, “use it or lose it” really holds true when it comes to your keeping your muscles intact and it takes more than housework to keep them bulked up. Muscle is what gives your body a nice shape – beautiful legs, slender arms, defined waist, … I hope to re-sculpt myself from head to toe in 2014, even if it’s just a little. 🙂
Stacy Uncorked is taking a blogging hiatus. She is in the process of moving…again. This time into her new home in the pacific northwest. She and her family have been basement dwellers since relocating from Pennsylvania to her parents’ home last August. Now, the light at the end of the tunnel is drawing closer for Stacy’s family and I know she’s singing “Oh Happy Day!”
Come on, grab a cup of coffee and join me as I link up with my lovelies!
Have a terrific Tuesday!
