I’m gonna round things out today by revealing the winner of last week’s BoTB between two different ‘Summer Breeze’ songs. It appears I’m on a strike with some tight showdowns. This one was no exception. Piper, not to be confused with Billy Squire’s band, squeezed ahead of Deep Chills by a slim margin on Wednesday but then on Thursday two new votes dropped in the ballot box in favor of Deep Chills narrowly giving the band the win 8 to 7. My ole my, how the tides changed in this battle. It looks like the majority in this battle round is hooked on Phoniks. Nah, I didn’t come up with that, I have Myke to thank for that clever word phrase. lol

You know what, I could’ve used BoTB contender Piper in my 4M playlist had I known they are a Japaneses band. It’s not too late to spin another tune on the table table. Listen to their recent release of Hot Sand!
I appreciate everyone who participated in mid-month battle and I’d like to point out that Stephen has a complete list of possible BoTBers with result posts. If you’d like to read about Piper (formed by singer/guitarist, Keisuke Yamamoto), then you can do so in this article. I want to bring it to your attention with Independence Day near the beginning of the month, I decided to hold off until and do my next BoTB on July 15th, so mark your calendar.
