Good morning, folks! I hope you had a nice weekend. Before, I begin spinning tunes for you let me draw attention to yesterday’s post highlighting the outcome in my Writing’s On The Wall BOTB.
This week’s theme is Time. Song lyrics or titles mentioning time, or calendars, or days of the week, offered from Alana at RamblinwithAM. I think this is a perfect prompt with the passage of the old year into the new. Are you ready to hit the dance floor?
This is a music linky party. The 4M co-hostess are listed in my side bar. Every other week we have a suggested music theme to build your song set around and all participants share YouTube or Vimeo videos for our music enthusiasts. Failure to meet this basic guideline puts your URL in danger of being removed or labeled – NO MUSIC.
I went broad with my search using “Time”. Funny How Time Slips Away crossed my eyes. The vintage tune released in June 1961 by country artist Billy Walker. The song was written by Willie Nelson. He recorded his song a year later. I thought the song was a perfect fit for today’s line up which you’ll see on my playlist but I used a cover artist. This song gave me the idea to find a song for each month of the year. I used the resource 100 Best Songs with Months at Spinditty to create my music collection. I breezed over the song titles, listened to a few seconds of the song, and if it resonated well then I added it to my list. I think many of these are new to me. I hope you enjoy the set.
Before time slips away from me, let me fill y’all in on some news. Marie from Xmas Dolly sent an email saying she’s working on getting back into the blogging groove and is ready to resume co-hosting duties. I added her link with the other 4M co-hostess in my sidebar. Watch for our girl’s return! Join me next week on the dance floor. This is CAAC signing off, have a boogietastic week! X💋X💋, Cathy
