Seriously, it’s so cold my teeth are chattering. I’m not sure what they are saying but they’re talking up a storm. Oops, wash my mouth out with soap! I hope I didn’t curse us by using that dirty word ‘storm’. There is a chance of snow but I sure hope it doesn’t happen. There are different levels of Hell and we’re living in the frozen stage which is sheer misery. I’m so tired of winter. Laughing is a good way to warm up, so join me in these Friday Funnies. Please sit your hot beverages down before continuing. Thank you!
Speaking of Hell….yesterday Tom shared an old song “Sock It To Me, Baby” by Mitch Ryder And The Detroit Wheels. For some reason Flip Wilson came to mind prompting me to find a clip of him using the phrase. Instead, I found his “The Devil Made Me Do It” routine from The Ed Sullivan Show. A comedian whose funny without uttering one swear or nasty word. Imagine that?!
Moving along to some cold weather humor. The forecast today….
Say what, Maxine? My brain is too frozen!
I realized I have two reasons to be thankful this morning. One, I don’t live in a super snowy place and two, we don’t have little people living under our roof anymore. I’m pretty sure if either of these things applied then I’d be like this.
My responses to Friday Friendly Fill-ins hosted by Ellen at 15andMeowing and Lorraine at Four-Legged Furballs.
- Right now the return of spring is music to my ears. Seriously, I’m so tired of winter. Go away, please!
- My favorite kind of soup is a toss between chicken noodle and tomato. Although, I like soup, I’m not a big soup eater. I prefer stew or chili and even then I commonly fix these things when the weather is colder.
- If I were going to migrate or hibernate for the winter, I would go to Miami, Florida. That might be a little too extreme but I know the temperatures that far south are really warm in the winter generally and I’m tired of being cold.
- I would have two homes in two locations, one for warm weather and another for cold weather if I could afford it. Unfortunately, I or we can’t afford such a luxury, but if we could then you betcha we’d have a home in Florida for the winter months, perhaps a home in Maine for the summer months, and if money wasn’t an object then I’d still have a home in east Tennessee.
Tomorrow, I have two posts scheduled, my mid-month BOTB results and Saturday Songsuasion. I hope you’ll stop by for a visit, if you’re hanging around Blogosphere. This is CAAC signing off, have a funtastic Friday, dear friends!
