Last week I was able to double up my blog hop participation by using the same entry and guess what? I am able to do that again. Don’t grow depended on this because it’s a bit of a daunting to find the right subject that defines dual hops but when it works it works great!
The ABC Wednesday letter is ‘D’ for Daybreak in East Tennessee and with it being WW, my depiction captured last September. If you look close enough, you’ll see I captured a crescent moon just above the darkened trees.
This brings back a distant memory of another daybreak moment taken from Clingmans Dome in the Smoky’s in late summer to early fall that I shared in October 2011. It was a chilly morning. DH (the guy below profile wearing glasses) is carrying DD#1 in an infant carrier. You can’t even see my darling baby but she was quite snugly warm against her daddy who’s peeping down on her.
Michael MacVean hosts this art challenge by offering artists regardless of your level with a prompt every other week to inspire your creativity. This is the off-week, so I’m going it along. I went back to revisit a previous art prompt that was given a few months back, here except I doodled my new art sketch old-school style.
Last week’s ‘My Town’ art prompt, I sketched the UT Vols Mascot, Smokey. He resembled a beagle more than a hound so I gave it another try in the first image and then in the second I gave him some color using my Prismacolor pencils.
What about that both sketch scenes have dogs which work purrfectly with the ABC Wednesday ‘D’ alpha-prompt. Dang, if I’m not good or what!
My linky party is open to all regardless of what kind of post you have as long as you’re a personal blogger. ALL commercial websites, advertisers, or other spammy, non-fun links are subjected to immediate termination by the linky hostess!
Have a blessed day and I’ll see ya around Blogosphere! 😉
