Our plans changed and won’t be away from home, so I am able to bring to you my regularly scheduled post.  

For a long time I thought Harry Noble’s Hold Me Thrill Me recorded by Mel Carter (1965) was the original release but that honor belongs to Karen Chandler in 1952 which actually puts things on an even kill for my battle because I wanted to use female covers.  

In this showdown neither of my contenders need an introduction.  Listen to decide on which lady you’d like to hold you thrill you the best.
