Welcome to Monday’s Music Moves Me on Sunday, my friend! Here we are at the end of the month with tomorrow being the last Monday in September. This month’s honorary co-hostess did a swell job, don’t you think? What’s that, I’m the honoree? Yeah, you caught me. I should let you pat me on the back. Go ahead, I won’t stop ya! 😀 Enough being silly already, you say…okay, for my final theme of the month, it’s National Scarf Day! How about use songs that express your fashion style…. or, how about songs of being wrapped up in something physically or emotionally. Is that enough of a challenge for you? Whatever you come up with, it’ll be wonderful, just have fun with it!
Every time I hear the song “Puttin’ On the Ritz” (Ella Fitzgerald) I think of Young Frankenstein. That’s a great movie! My favorite casual attire is a pair of well-worn jeans. The only person who might say “Baby’s Got Her Blue Jeans On” (Mel McDaniel) probably is no other than DH but he prefers to see me in “Short Shorts” (The Royal Teens). Chris Young’s “Gettin’ You Home” mentions his lady’s black dress hitting the floor which sounds like a whole lot of fun. I sorta have a shoe fetish but I really don’t like “Shoe Shopping” (Old Dominion) so I leave that up to DH who does enjoy buying everything for me. It was cool to find a number of songs relating to footwear “Cha Cha Heels” (Eartha Kitt), “These boots Are Made for Walkin'” (Nancy Sinatra), “Red High Heels” (Kelli Pickler), “Pink Shoe Laces” (Dodie Stevens), and naturally “Boogie Shoes” (KC & the Sunshine Band) are a must on Mondays. I have a question, which do you prefer the linky with the thumbnail or without? Sometimes, linky misbehaves gathering one’s images to pick from or at least it does for me in which case I usually have to upload the one I want. I thought I’d check to see how it’s working for you. If it’s as much trouble for you as it is for me then perhaps a more basic linky is needed. What do you think?
