The results are in! We have good news and some bad news. The good news is, none of my favorites got voted off Dancing with the Stars. I’ll have another week to enjoy seeing them perform. The bad news is Wendy remains on the show. Who got knocked off?
It came to no real surprise that…Mike Catherwood, Loveline Lover Boy, and his professional dance partner, Lacey Schwimmer, got the ole boot out the door. I was a little disappointed he got ousted so quickly. Don’t get me wrong, he was bad. But, how could I not like this guy? I mean his display of spunky fun energy on the dance floor made it all worth watching him. I’d never heard of him before DWTS introduced him to me, but his personality really shined. It was fun while it lasted, Mike. Good-luck!
Yesterday I had gone nearly AWOL in Blogville. DH was home sick, so my attention was mostly on him. Don’t worry, he’s better today and back at work.
I didn’t get to play my memes yesterday, but I plan to make up today for yesterday’s loss. Here’s a cool meme, if you’re wanting to connect with other gals for weight loss support. It’s simply fun and encouraging just link up below.
1. Is there something that triggers too much snacking for you? Usually, boredom or stress causes me to eat more than I should. The sad thing about it is I know I shouldn’t do it and I cave into those moments.
2. What kind of music do you like while you’re exercising? Since I’ve been riding my stationary bike, then I mainly watch TV while I pedal away. If I use an aerobic video then whatever music they use is what I listen to. However, if I’m doing chores then I love dancing through the house to any number of my classic rock n’ roll CDs.
3. What’s your favorite thing about spring? How can I pick just one thing about spring which is my favorite? I can’t! I love the days growing longer little by little and the vibrant colors that brighten up the earth. I love the warmth of the sunshine touching my face and the gentle breeze kissing my skin. I love the “I’m feeling alive” sensation which bubbles up inside me. I guess, I just simply love everything about spring!
4. Do you ever feel like you have to carefully weigh advice given in popular magazines? Absolutely. What’s right for one person may not be right for another. We have to listen to our bodies and know what’s best for our needs. We all aren’t alike. Practice common sense medicine in health related matters is always a good rule of thumb.
5. If you could invite 5 people you do not regularly see to visit with you, On a porch while drinking tea or coffee, who would they be? It would be difficult for me to narrow it down to 5 people. I’d say I would need to expand to a full-blown tea party in my yard.
