Water Rock Knob Views #WW

Welcome Kittens & Dawgs!  I can honestly say, I’m glad September is behind me.  I hate saying that really I do.  It was a busy month and it looks like October is set up to be a repeater.  I haven’t had a chance to take many pictures recently but I do have a few images that I didn’t get to share with you yet.  Well…I’m sure I have a lot of old pictures I haven’t published but I’m speaking of ones captured in recent months.

This is Water Rock Knob on the Blue Ridge Parkway north of Cherokee, North Carolina from Memorial Day weekend.  We had a number of early evening picnics from this spot over the summer. I’d image fall colors are noticeable now.
This weather mood is amazing from Water Rock Knob.  It’s often cloudy or misty.  This photo capture is from August.  We love coming here because it’s so refreshing from the low lying elevation of Knoxville and I bet it feels wonderful today.

This is a blog hop for photo enthusiasts who like to share with words or keep it seem with pictures only. Whichever you are, you’re welcome to join the fun!

[tweetthis]I linked up with Curious as a Cathy for some not-so #WW fun & I invite you join the party! #photography[/tweetthis]

This week’s ABC Wednesdays alphabet prompt is the letter “M” and my photo contributions is a purrrfect fit my Appalachian mountains.

Last week, I shared two sketches in the attempt to catch up with the Scribble Picnic weekly art prompts. I failed to realize that the second drawing I shared for the “CHICKEN” prompt of the swinging footbridge was meant for THIS week.  I thought, “Oh, well, my bad!” Actually, this turned out to be a blessing giving me another chance to sketch it again.  So, here’s another illustration of that scary swinging footbridge that I was too chicken to cross as a kid and I’m purrty sure I wouldn’t cross it now, either. I’m a scaredy-Cathy!

It can stand more improvements but the more I monkey with it the more I see impurrfections, so I decided to leave it along as it and try again another time.

I’m going to leave with you my song selection that’ll probably shock most of you because this is not a band I typically listen to but found their newest song release not so bad.  Give it up for Disturbed with “A Reason to Fight”!

Before you, I want to invite you to vote in my Oct. 1st BoTB. You don’t have be apart of the community or know anything about the songs/artists, just vote on the cover artist you like the best. It’s that simple! Have a good day and please join me tomorrow for my Thursday Two Question mashup fun!
