Welcome to Monday’s Music Moves Me on Sundays! I’m carrying over last week’s Latin Artists theme today since this whatever music moves you week!
Have you heard of the Latin group Malo? This San Francisco latino rock band formed in 1971. The original group consisted of Arcelio Garcia, Pablo Tellez, and Jorge Santana (Carlo Santana’s brother). The band featured full horn and percussion section in their music style which I totally love. In my opinion that is what’s missing in current music. I’m sharing their 1972 self-titled album. It peaked #14 on US Top 200 and #10 US R&B charts. Click play to enjoy the sound of Malo!
Now, it’s your turn, what music is moving you?
Friday evening we got a rare glimpse of the Northern Lights. This is the first time for both of us to see the phenomena. The lights didn’t dance in big electric waves but depending the moment I pressed the shutter on my iPhone and the sky appeared purplish or melon color. In this picture a bit of green light is visible in the lower portion of the frame.
I couldn’t enjoy Mother’s Day if it weren’t for my three kiddos. I’m blessed! Speaking of children, our daughter who lives in Maine celebrates another year older on Tuesday. I dedicate this 1990 Billboard Hot 100 song to her. The title has nothing to do with her directly just saying. 🤣
I’m sending warm wishes to all mothers, may your day be filled with lots of love, laughter, and sunshine!
Have a boogietastic week!Â
