Joseph’s Song

We’re now in the post Christmas season. I hope y’all had a wonderful time celebrating with family.  I will continue to carry the torch the rest of the month sharing festive sounds of Christmas and I hope you’ll join me until the end.

Michael Card first came to my attention in 1988 after DD#1’s birth. Somehow I came to own his Sleep Sound in Jesus (YT playlist) CD which I love. If you’re looking for sweet lullaby for your baby then that’s the one to get. Anywho, in my song-a-day quest I came across this Christmas song by Card, ‘Joseph’s Song’.

As the holiday season unwinds, I don’t want to stress over multiple posts but want to keep my participation in place with Thursday Art Date with Rain. Her prompt today is Merry Christmas.

We have 364 days to wait until next Christmas but it doesn’t have to be one day a year. With Jesus it’s an every day event right inside your heart. Share the Christmas spirit with another person each day because you don’t know what that person is going through and that joy might be what they need to get through another day. So, please don’t be quick to judge. Pause before speaking. Take a meal to an elderly or sick neighbor or help a new mother with a package of diapers, set out her trash, or pick up the mail. They are oodles of ways to give to others with little to no expense, just an act of kindness is all it takes sometimes.
