Welcome to Monday’s Music Moves Me on Sundays! This week’s theme is wedding songs and it so happnes we got married in June. We’ll celebrate our 45th anniversary on my sister’s birthday on the 9th. I did a quick Brave search for popular wedding songs from the 70s and this song list came back:
- “Three Times A Lady” by The Commodores
- “You’re The First, The Last, My Everything” by Barry White
- “Your Song” by Elton John
- “You Are the Sunshine of My Life” by Stevie Wonder
- “How Deep Is Your Love” by Bee Gees
- “Isn’t She Lovely” by Stevie Wonder
- “Dancing Queen” by ABBA
- “Let’s Stay Together” by Al Green
- “The Way We Were” by Barbra Streisand
- “Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Elvis Presley
The 4M co-hostess and guidelines can be found in my side menu. It’s your turn to share the music, link up, and join the fun!
As I mentioned last week, I’m doing things different this summer. I love comments but it makes it difficult to truly to keep up with everyone while I’m taking a blogging break so I want to encourage you if you can to click the “like” button or simply drop an emoji in comments. That’s all I need to know that you stopped by.
Rounding things up let me mention our dance partner, Driller’s Place part of Arkansas was hit hard by 7 tornadoes last week. Thankfully, he and his wife are okay. Please keep those folks in your prayers as they rebuilt their homes, lives, and communities after such a devastation. Have a boogietastic week!
