Good morning, Kittens and Dawgs! How was y’alls weekend? DH had combo eye surgery on Thursday. Everything went very well. He had cataract surgery first. This makes it easier for the second surgeon to see through a clear lens, then with the second procedure the retina surgeon removed the oil bubble, replacing it with an air bubble which will dissipate in 7-9 days. Friday, he had a post-op appointment with his retina surgeon and so far, so good! Right now his vision is blurry in that eye because he’s seeing throught the air bubble but that’s expected to improve soon. Eventually, he’ll need to have new glasses made but that’s probably several weeks out. We stayed home Saturday and Sunday just to regroup after two exhausting days, more so for DH than me but it was tiring for me, too. I have some catching up to do today but right now it’s time to boogie!
Today’s Spotlight Dancer, John from The Sound of One Hand Typing submitted this week’s mewsic theme, “SONG TITLES BEGINNING WITH EACH LETTER OF YOUR FIRST, MIDDLE, LAST, OR FULL NAME“, and coincidentally is this month’s honorary co-host. Congrats and welcome aboard, my friend! Michelle is stepping down due to Internet connectivity and life issues. We hate to see her go but appreciated the help while Colette is on a medical hiatus. Please continue to keep her in your prayers. Now, join my fellow co-hosts: XmasDolly (Party Coordinator), Stacy, & our newest co-host, Alana on the dance floor (open to only mewsic posts)!
I decided to use the letters of my first name only but also, I wanted the song title to include the word “girl” and came up with my C.A.T.H.Y. playlist!
- “Cinnamon Girl” Neil Young
- “American Girl” Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers
- “This Little Girl” (1981) Gary U.S. Bonds
- “Hey Little Girl” Icehouse
- “Young Girl” (1968 )Gary Puckett & The Union Gap

Do you like your name? Would you change yours if you could? What would it be? Do you know anyone who has legally changed his/her name?
