It’s official! Angela, our beautiful expecting host, appointed me as her cohort in crime in this mid-week fun, WAYBACK WEDNESDAY, and I’d like to say, “Thanks!” Today, we’re going to travel back in time to 1991.
Personal tid bits from my memory:
- I started international pen palling for the first time!
- My daughters celebrated their 1st and 3rd birthdays.
- We became a one car family when my husband’s work car (his first car) went ka-poohie.
- I recall my traumatic feelings when Dessert Storm initiated. My sleep became deprived as I struggled to over come the anxieties of this war. It reminded me of the Vietnam war.

Why is it the bad events are kept longer in a person’s memory than something good? While I can’t recollect personal or social positive things from that year music I find always leaves a feel-good sensation and can bridge across time like a beautiful picture. Good vibrations are nearly always felt when taking in a Disney cinematic presentation. Beauty and the Beast – one of my daughters’ favorites debuted that year. This definitely brings back lots of good memories – thoughts of when my daughters were little girls again!
