Funny, every time I think of courthouse clocks it reminds me of Back to the Future. What about you?
This morning’s SWF view I am taking you back to Tennessee’s oldest city, Jonesborough. I featured this community a couple of times, most recently this past April. If you missed it, then you can take a peek here. This is Jonesborough’s downtown historic district.
I’m drawn to the courthouse clock this visit.
I even captured a nice reflection below.
From the north end of the Main Street, I decided to take the below picture. The power or phone lines distracted my view but I didn’t let that stop me from taking the shot. I simply worked around it.
~All images captured with my big girl camera ~ Nikon D7000 & preferred lens Nikkor 18-105mm zoom, unless otherwise noted.~

Wonderful shots! I almost stopped in Jonesborough last October on my way from Texas to Pennsylvania. Now I really wish I would have had more time.
Beautiful b&w photos in your serie!
I like your black and white. It has a beautiful glow.
An interesting street view. The design of the clock tower is enchanting.
Looks like a quaint, cute little town with some great history!
Really like the black and white shots. It takes time to really edit black and whites.
What a beautifully preserved old town and you bet I think of “Back to the Future” when I see a courthouse clock. Especially an old relic like this one … and your reflection is perfect. I love it all …

Oh, I would love to live in a small town where every destination can be reached by walking! Thank you for visiting me. I’m now following you too.
I’m definitely thinking of Back to the Future looking at that quaint town. It looks a lot like the one in the movie.
Love the look of the town and the reflection is great! Thanks for your visit and following VDP!
I thought of Back to the Future, too!

It’s truly a small hometown atmosphere! I like all the flags lining the street ~ so patriotic!
