Good morning, kittens & dawgs! The weekend is here again. Yea-haw! This is what I lived for all week ~ time to relax with my DH! Whatcha got going this morning? If you’re like many of us, you got a bit of catching up to do either on the net or around the house.
I don’t pay attention to an artist’s name usually until I hear a song I like and even then it may take repeat listening to before the name becomes etched in my brain. All I can say is, I’m just special like that.
The other day, I had iTunes radio tuned to 57th Grammy Award station, when this artist popped on my radar. This was one of those cases in point, where the name didn’t ring a bell. The funny thing is I don’t recall what song was playing now, but I did make a note of the album and decided to share it with you.
Today’s featured artist is a singer/songwriter from England. Last month, this 22-year old was nominated for six Grammy Awards: Best New Artist, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Pop Vocals, and Album of the Year ~ In the Lonely Hour.
I present to you….
I’m considering whether to continue with Saturday Songsuasion. Based on the comments, I’m wondering how beneficial this post is to my readers.
What do you think the problem is?
(a) Slow weekend traffic?
(b) Isn’t interesting enough to hook readers?
I value your opinion, please chime in and let me know what you think. Thank you for making me a part of your weekend. I hope you enjoyed your visit. In fact, I hope you enjoyed it so much that you cannot wait to tell your friends. Go ahead, hit the share (Facebook, Twitter, Google+) button! You know you wanna. 😉 Have a songsational Saturday!

Oh, just noticed the “Blog Traffic” counter to the right of my comment. Looks pretty good.

Hi Cathy. I’d never heard of Sam Smith before coming over here. What an talent – thank you for showcasing him!
Gosh, your stats look healthy. I have no idea unless people just listen and forget to comment. If not for BOTB, I might not have found you! Glad I did. Like Lee, I too have people that catch up on week posts on the weekend… but I have nowhere near the stats you have!!
Good luck with all that (smile).
Slow week-ends perhaps? Although I do find people catching up to posts that I’ve done during the week when week-ends come. If it’s a matter of comments and your posts are all music, maybe people listen for a while or in total and have little to say beyond doing that action.
Do your stats tell you anything about your traffic on the week-end posts? Do you look at your stats?

Well this guy sounds amazing! Thanks for sharing. As for keeping this going- I don’t have an opinion because my weeks vary with time and when I can sit down to catch up with my blogs. Saturdays mornings have become my day to catch up with all my blogging friends.
What a debut Sam Smith has had! You chose well on this one.
I’ve stopped posting on weekends. I post Friday, and get good traffic then, and find that some readers make it to that post on Saturday and Sunday, too. I think many people read at work, and get so busy on weekends. Just my two cents!
