Please read…this is a mewsic linky party, which means all participates are sharing songs that one can listen to from YouTube or Vimeo and a not a post about mewsic or mewsicians. Failure to meet this basic guideline puts your URL in danger of being removed or labeled – NO MUSIC.

Great music selections, Cathy! Quite a few I hadn’t heard before – thanks for the introduction, and thanks for the dance! 🙂
Interesting selection. They all did blend well together. The only one I knew well was “Lonely Boy”. I think I’ve heard Body Talk and Funnel of Love. The Jars of Hearts violin/piano duo was beautiful but it also left me a bit puzzled…not sure why. So…hope you had a great week!
Great music selections. A few there I’ve never heard before.
Chris,
Thank you for joining me on the dance floor…well, what I mean thanks for dropping by to listen to my music selection for the 4M gang. You ought to link up sometime. We’d love to have you boogie with us. 🙂
An awww! all the way around the post.
Thanks for dropping by, Mimi!
I enjoyed the music!! Thanks!
Annie,
Thanks for dropping by to dance with me. Before I forget let me mention that your Gravatar profile does not have your blog URL listed, so if anyone relies on that to getting back to your blog then they won’t be able to. Luckily, you joined our linky party and so I knew who you were almost immediately. I find that all too often bloggers aren’t aware that their blog address isn’t linked to their profile and I feel it’s my duty to call it to one’s attention. Okay…mission accomplished. 🙂 I hope you’ll continue to boogie with the 4M crew each week. It’s great seeing new faces at the party. Have a great week!
What is it about puppy nips? My puppy has a bad habit of goosing. I don’t think that will work as a therapy dog, but he only does it with toys in his mouth, so I think the hospital patients will be fine. I’d never heard the first song before. Nice, even if it has a country twang. Her second song was too twangy, though. I like the lonely boy song. That would have been a good one for the story theme, too. I hadn’t heard “Catch Me I’m Falling” in years.
Joyce,
I hadn’t thought about “Lonely Boy” for the story theme but you’re right. I can’t tell you why a pup likes to nip. I figured it’s just from playfulness, some do it more than others, though.
Haven’t heard those before but nice tunes!
Athena & Marie,
So glad to introduce you to some new mewsic. Thanks for boogieing with me! 😉
Hi, Cathy!
I had run across Ashley Monroe, your homegirl, a country artist from Knoxville, a couple of years ago, and was very impressed by her. Notice how her style of modern crossover country sounds a lot like today’s pop. I like Ashley’s look and sound. I bought a Wanda Jackson CD compilation a few years ago that contains “Funnel Of Love,” an odd song that I have come to love. It’s been a long time since I heard Andrew Gold’s hit “Lonely Boy.” I enjoyed it. Of course, “Catch Me (I’m Falling)” by Pretty Poison was featured in my Shady Train post last week, and so you know I also like that one. 🙂 I also love Foxes doing “Body Talk” and featured that song and video on my old blog a few years ago. The piano – violin tune is delightful. My favorite new-to-me and sound in this post is the last song and video by Niall Horan.
Thank you very much for the exciting batch of mewsical treats, dear friend Cathy!
Tom,
I actually had forgotten that Ashley is from Knoxville. lol Gee, my brain must not be plugged in these days! Thanks for reminding me, my friend. Pretty Poison I believe you introduced me to. 🙂 I’m glad you enjoyed my mewsic selection on the dance floor. Have a boogietastic week, my friend!
My momma LUVS Ashley Monroe!
Love your tune here you posted. It’s so pretty. I’ve never heard it before, but it’s awesome. Thanks for the introduction. Hope all is well with you. My girlfriend is in the hospital having shoulder surgery & when I heard no one was there with her nobody should have to face surgery alone. Dave took me there and we stayed with her. Sorry i wasn’t here today, but I’m trying to make the rounds now. Love you & thanks for holding down the fort. You’re duh best. BIG HUGSSSSSSSSSSSS OH I’m going to the doctor it’s a Physiatrist or something like that. Maybe now I can get this stupid leg fixed. I’ve been waiting a year & a half for this. Appt. is the 26th. Wish me luck.
Marie,
No worries about the late show. We all have lives outside of Blogosphere. Just boogie when you can is what I say. 😉 How’s your friend doing after surgery? You’re awfully sweet to be there for her. You’re a wonderful person and I know she really appreciated you being there for her. I hope this new doctor is able to help you and that you can get some relief soon. Have a great week, my dear!
Those were really interesting and we really enjoy finding new to us tunes, thanks!
Thanks, Brian! I’m happy that you pAwsed your nap time boogie with me on the dance floor. Have a mewvelous day!

Love bites – how cute! 😀 The songs you selected are all new to me and I really enjoyed #8 and # 9. Good stuff!
These are all new to me. I need to listen to the radio more often 🙂 XO
Loved listening to the songs. Here is the answer to your question from my blog on the Almond cookies. Cream of tartar mixed with backing soda makes the cookies rise. These are so good, cake like cookies. Have a great Monday.
oh puppy do stop the biting! Enjoyable post- have a great day!
Great playlist! Andrew Gold also wrote “Thank You For Being A Friend,” which was used as the theme song for “The Golden Girls.”
Awww on the pup and kitty. Yes the biting has to stop.
Love that video. Hadn’t heard it before.
Love the quote. Spot on.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
