Random giggles of spring, baggage, aging, misunderstandings, & wildlife

Not only has this week evaporated on me but so did March.  Although I haven’t been in Blogosphere a lot other than doing the basics while I prep for the upcoming April blogfest I thought I’d provide a few smiles as we send off another month with a mixed bag of laughs!

On Sunday, I’m sharing a 2 for 1 special Mondays Mewsic Moves Me & April 1st BoTB! April’s honorary co-host is Kim from The reinvented Life and her first theme choice is April showers bring May flowers. Come join the 4M crew on the dance floor!

    1. Eugenia,

Happy spring to you, my friend! It certainly doesn’t feel much like it this morning with temps below 30º. Brr, I can’t wait for milder nightly lows are the norm for a while. 🙂

  1. Your funnies are funny! i love the Bears which reminds me of the Farside cartoons which I love. The old man and lady made me howl!! The rap song is funny and so true. Why do we listen to a rodent? I hope you are almost done your A to Z write ups

    1. Birgit,

The old lady and man comic is funny and I almost didn’t share it but decided to just do it anyhow because we all need a good rib cracking every now and then, right?

  2. Very funny!!! I love the “hybrid” hee hee…I know what you mean Cathy…March just slipped past me, I feel that the entire 2019 has done so, so far…I wish it would slow down a bit! 🙂

    1. Rain,

I totally get how you feel about not only March slipping away but the year so far. I’m afraid to blink or I might miss the rest of 2019. 🙂

  3. Love all the funnies. I really loved that video. It’s cold out this morning, but the sun is shining. It was raining yesterday.

Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend, my friend. Hugs and love. ♥

    1. Sandee,

Our overnight lows over the weekend weren’t bad but it’s below freezing this morning. Brrr! I can’t for the weather to settle out for good! Thank you for joining me for some laughs. This morning, I’m doing my catch up routine after a long weekend with DH but one that was also spent recovering from stomach issues. I’m going better now but boy do I have the work to do today! Heading your way next. 🙂

    1. Jacqui,

If ever I become a dog owner, we will more than likely get a mixed breed pup so I’m sure to keep ‘hybrid’ reserved for labeling my mutt so to build his self-confidence. lol Thanks for joining me for some laughs!

  4. Hi, Cathy!

I didn’t think I was gonna see any Sillies today, dear friend. I’m glad you posted some!

First of all, that rap song and video “No Spring For You” is very clever. I hope everybody takes times to watch it all the way through. I just can’t say enough about it. It is very funny and well done incorporating submitted video clips and pictures from across the country and even Norway. The first set of cartoons, “You know spring is here when…” does not apply to Florida. When spring arrives here, I do not remove one sweater because I didn’t even need to wear one all winter long. Instead, I unbutton my short sleeve shirt in an effort to keep cool. Down here the air conditioner runs day and night in spring. The “acute angina” cartoon made me laugh out loud – a great one! The “why we will never understand each other” is oh so true. That’s Mrs. Shady and me! 🙂

I agree it is a good idea for you to get the week started on Sunday to avoid a jam up on Monday. I will be here both days. Thanks for the Friday Sillies and have a safe and happy weekend, dear friend Cathy!

    1. Tom,

I couldn’t let the week slip without a few giggles as well remind everyone to hit the dance floor with me. 🙂 The Holderness Family produce great, fun song parodies! You’re lucky, sorta, to live in a climate that’s mild in the winter. There are many folks who’d love to trade places with you. Of course, I wonder how they’d feel about Florida’s summers. 🙂 The ‘why we will never understand each other’ is a hilarious set of cartoons of how extreme the male/female thinking is but thankfully I am glad this doesn’t apply to DH & me. Thanks for dropping by for some laughs, my friend!
