I’m sipping my coffee and enjoying your Friday Sillies, dear friend!
That first cartoon got it right. Mrs. Shady and I panic if we can’t drink coffee first thing in the morning. She also drinks decaf until bedtime every night. I stop drinking coffee by mid afternoon. The caption on that second cartoon goes perfectly with the picture of Grumpy Cat. I read that the poor thing died of complications from a UTI and was only seven years old. Such a shame! The third – “Why we’ll never understand each other” – rings with truth about the difference between men and women. In seminars I learned that “the meaning of your communication is the response that you get.”
You and DH are fortunate to have met each other. I don’t know many people who can honestly state that their spouse is their “very best friend of the whole entire world.” I am very happy for you both!
Mrs. S and I bailed out of SNL many years ago, but we would have loved watching the viral videos created by the mewsical comedy trio The Lonely Island including the one you posted, “Jack Sparrow” featuring Michael Bolton. Bolton is impressing me lately with his ability as a poker-faced comedic actor. In 2017 Bolton appeared as himself in three episodes of the sitcom Fresh Off The Boat, and he does a fine job in this “Jack Sparrow” video. It’s an enjoyable song and the video is top notch. Bolton “ruins” the rap song with his references to the Pirates of the Caribbean film series and the hit movies Forrest Gump, Erin Brockovich, Scarface and Jerry Maguire. What fun!

I’m not a Michael Bolton fan, but I giggle every time I hear his name because of the movie Office Space, don’t know if you’ve seen it or not! Enjoy your Saturday!!! 
Those were all good! The Dad got to meet Grumpy Cat on a trip to NYC so we were so sad she has gone.

The answer I gave on #4 is not nearly as naughty as the one I wanted to put that but I was too embarrassed to outs myself. lol
RIP Grumpy Cat. Evidently she was a real sweetheart in real life.
I heard Grumpy Cat passed away and feel bad for the people who owned them because, even though they made a ton of money, this was their fur babe and he was too young to pass. I do like the giggles and the Grumpy Cat would be my Hubby and love the last one. I swam in another pool quite a bit way back in ’87 at the Marriott which was next door to an apartment complex my friend was living in (he worked at Disney). I was in an Astin Martin on the Autobahn back in ’82, I was not driving but loved the speed! Craziest thing? Taking my camera out in no man’s land, back in 1982, when waiting to go from Communist Hungary to Austria. When the guard on the tower cocked his rifle and looked at me, I understood what our tour guide said in German-No Pictures! I pointed to a bunny rabbit I saw and snapped a picture and then put the camera away. he took the gun off me. I think he knew I was a dumb kid and wanted to scare me because they never took my camera. My hubby is my best friend followed closed by my girlfriend whom i have known for 34 years. My mom too as I still talk to her even though she can’t answer back. That video is hilarious and I am trying to figure out who Michael Bowen was supposed to be when he dressed up as an ugly girl

Yikes, that’s a scary thing to read about your experience in Hungary. It makes me appreciate all the more living in such a great country where generally speaking I don’t have to worry about someone aiming a gun at me just because I want to take a picture. I have no clue who Michael Bolton is supposed to be but he sure does make an ugly woman. lol

The announcement of Grumpy Cat’s passing has me more than a little heartbroken. I loved the memes with her … especially knowing that she was a sweet, affectionate kitty underneath. It made me smile to see her picture in your article this morning.

It was quite the fluke I used Grumpy Cat this morning. I didn’t even know that she passed until I saw it on FB. You know I didn’t even know that she was even real until now. I’m sorry for her owners who loved her dearly. I know they are heartbroken. Thanks for joining me today.
