Recently, I heard on the radio a new-to-me song by country singer, Jon Pardi. The song captured my heart in a sweet way. The play on words reminded me of another little tune. Allow me to introduce to you, Head Over Boots!
We finished watching the series Lost Girl (Netflix) the other night and the song choice at the end of episode caught my ear. I heard this song before from another TV show and I knew I had to share it with you. Here’s Dark Runs Out by Amy Stroup.
What mewsic are you listening to lately? I’d love to know what songs are moving you, so please feel free to tell me in comments. 😉

Sometimes this is when I want to take a blogging cation 🙂
But it was fun right.
I fell off the lost girl wagon a long time ago. Just couldn’t keep up with the series. Kids went to bed and I fell asleep.
Thanks for the new tunes Cathy.
Hope you are well, other than feeling a bit burned out. *HUGS*
So we’re back to country. I thought you said to post, “good” music. LOL.
Joyce, you’re such a card! lol “Good” is a relative term, I’m discovering with the varied personalities and styles among my blogging buddies. Thanks for dancing by anyhow, partner! 😉
Today is filled with Battle of the Band songs 🙂 I love hearing all the different genres that we each have picked to showcase in our battles.
Maybe one day, with a little more planning, I’ll join you in your Monday blog Hop.

Battle of the Bands: Plant vs Plant
Mary, feel free to add your BoTB to my Monday blog hop. There are no rules, just fun linky to attach your post to and maybe get a few more hits on your site. Thanks for dancing with me today!
First, Congrats on getting through the A to Z!
Second, thank you for Bob Dylan, and Jon Pardi today! One is new and another an old friend from NYC.
You reminded me of what I’d originally wanted to do on The Monday Music Medicine Show today, (after the fact), which was to dance – your putting on your ‘dancing boots,’ reminded me.
So here is what I’m still thinking about:

Fimnora, I love latin music! It definitely m-o-o-o-ves me. In fact your song choice got me to my feet to do a little samba beside my seat. 🙂 Now, I”m really to boogie over to see you, dear! 😉
I’m so happy you enjoyed Bailamos, Cathy! I look forward to your visit. 🙂
?
Hi, Cathy!
I just thought I’d pop in to see you again today. I’m glad I did. I enjoyed the powerful lyrics and Middle Eastern melody of the Bob Dylan – Emmylou Harris duet “One More Cup of Coffee (Valley Below).” I welcome country music whenever a friend presents it and I also enjoyed your selection by Jon Pardi. I am also glad I showed up this morning because I found out about the series Lost Girl. I did some additional reading and YouTube watching and discovered that there are 5 seasons of the series. Anna Silk is a convincing succubus and the series looks exciting and provocative. If you never saw it, I highly recommend Prison Break starring Wentworth Miller, also available on Netflix. Mrs. Shady and I are working our way through it and are loving it. It’s brilliantly written and acted and offers nonstop action and suspense!
Happy May and happy Monday, dear friend Cathy!
