Pepsi & Shirlie

Welcome to Monday’s Music Moves Me on Sundays!  This week’s theme is whatever music moves you

Earlier in the year my buddy Tom shared the English pop girl duo singing “Heartache” at his place.  The 80s group was an introduction.  I suspect the reason I don’t remember them is because this is only song of theirs to do well in the US peaking #2 on American Dance Chart.  They were really good but the talent was furiously good in those days so it took more than studio magic to pull an artist out in front of the others.  I thought it would be nice to bring to you this morning a playlist of their songs from their All Right Now album created by a YouTuber.  Crank your speakers up, click play, and be prepared to feel the beat of the music!

Remember music themes are only suggestions.  I don’t care one way or another.  The important thing is to share whatever music moves you. Now, it’s your turn!

This is a music link up.  Your post must contain at least one song or your URL is marked “No Music”.

Thanks to each of you for visiting while I was away.  I’m slow at catching up, but I will get around to you if I haven’t.  Have a boogietastic week!

Sometime ago, I came across this quote so I sketched a picture in Procreate of a little woman I like think of as myself to share because there are times I think this is what my kids think of me. 😁

  1. OMC we don’t know the songs, nor the duo and that being said from someone who loved the eighties🙈But we heard about the name💡 Great drawing, make us smile..see😊Double Pawkisses for a Happy Week ahead, CK🐾😽💞

  2. How very 80s music! I haven’t heard of them but it brought back don’t memories. Love the sketch and the saying love that African proverb. This is Birgit

  3. I don’t know this duo, but they have a typical 80s sound. Interesting that they did a cover of Free’s “All Right Now”. They certainly put their own spin on it. Cute sketch! 😆

  4. It’s always fun to hear the music you want to introduce.

I like the sketch you did! Another good quote, “Next time my kids laugh at me for needing help with technology, I will remind them I taught them to use a spoon.”

  5. Totally new to me. I like their sound, definitely 80’s, and it’s too bad they were overlooked. It was nice music for a rainy afternoon. Alana ramblinwitham
