Over the weekend, we watched Parental Guidance with Billy Crystal, Bette Midler, Marisa Tomei, and Tom Everett Scott.

Artie (Crystal) and Diane (Midler) agree to watch the grandkids for Alice (Tomei) and Phil (Scott) while out-of-town on business. This movie focuses on the conflicts of two different generations ideas of how parenting should be delegated.

The movie is fairly predictable, but the overtone of the message is positive in the end with the help of grandma and grandpa’s old school methods which bring the family closer.
