Piano music to move your heart

Aww Mondays hosted by Sandee at Comedy Plus

Welcome to the dance party!  Today, Granny with her furbabies Stippie & Peachy from Angelswhispers2011 requested that we share love songs to celebrate Valentine’s Day.  I took the liberty to broaden the theme to include Valentine song titles or band names or to create a Valentine’s Day acrostic.  Spell out Valentine’s Day, I Love You, or Hugs & Kisses, …. You get the idea.  Just have fun and remember themes are totally optional. 😉

Ramona from Create with Joy introduced George Winston to me in recent months. Curiosity had me at YouTube to sample more of his beautiful piano arrangements when I found this playlist, Montana – A Love Story, and I thought why not share this with my peeps?!

George Winston

Keeping in line with beautiful piano arrangements of love, romance that move your heart, I found this amazing playlist.

Romantic Piano Ballads

This is a music linky party. The co-hostesses are listed in my side menu under the 4M banner.   Every other week we have a suggested music theme to build your song set around and all participants share YouTube or Vimeo videos for our music enthusiasts.  Themes aren’t mandatory to gain access to the dance floor but failure to meet the basic guideline (post must contain music) puts your URL in danger of being removed or labeled – NO MUSIC.

4M design by Cathy Kennedy

I hope you enjoyed the music.  Coming up on Wednesday, I’ll be back with the results of February 1st BOTB.  This is CAAC signing off, saying have a boogietastic day.  X💋X💋, Cathy

  1. That’s a fabulous choise of mewsic, CK. We love piano mewsic, so we stay here for an hour or two to listen. Your postie is so 💗ful, with the swans and the quote, what is a great reminder too and Yes, it definitely moved our hearts😻Heartful Pawkisses from us especially for you and have a wonderful day too🐾😽💞

    1. Thank you, darlin’! It’s great seeing you this week and I’m happy you enjoyed the music, aww, and falling in love meme. Have a great week!

  2. I’ve just recently gotten into George Winston. I find his music relaxing, and easy to sleep to… which, lately, has been a problem. That other list is monster. but it is available as a Spotify playlist, so I’ve got it saved there and will likely listen to it tonight while I’m trying to slep… Great music, and plenty of it!

    1. John,

I used to love listening to relaxing music when I was a teen to help me fall asleep, not that I had trouble, but it certainly got me to la-la-land in a hurry. We’re take 6mg of Melatonin before bed each night and it seems to help me quite a bit. DH doesn’t always get the same nightly results that I do. I’m glad you enjoyed the music. Thanks for joining the 4M party!

  3. George Winston is an amazing artist.
Yes, a successful marriage does indeed require falling in love every morning with the same person. There will be days that you may not like your partner, but you must always love them. Love is a commitment, not an emotion.

    1. I couldn’t agree more, love is a commitment not an emotion. That’s the problem. Too many are hung up on the emotion of love, not that it takes some work sometimes to keep things going right. True love weathers the storms. Thanks for joining the party, my friend!

  4. Thanks for hosting – I love George Winston! I have had the pleasure of seeing him perform live on several occasions. He is an incredible pianist and person!

    1. That’s awesome that you’ve gotten to see George Winston perform. He’s an incredible pianist! Thanks for coming to the party, my dear!

  5. This is lovely. Years (many years) ago, I used to have a few George Winston tapes. Thanks for the reminder of his great music. Have a wonderful week!

    1. Mary,

I’m often reminded of artists I’ve forgotten about. It’s great discovering lost talent all over again. Thanks for joining the 4M party, my friend!

  6. Awww on the swans. So beautiful.

Love your videos. Love is such a wonderful thing and I love that quote. We’ve both done that many times.

Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Love and hugs, Cathy. ♥

    1. Sandee,

We have, too. It baffles my mind how love keeps growing for your husband/wife. How can that even be possible? It’s an amazing thing! We’re blessed to have special men in our lives. Thanks for visiting, my dear!

  7. Hi, Cathy!

Happy Paw-some 4M Monday, dear friend! I hope you and DH had a nice weekend.

Awww… I just wanna smooch those graceful swans, but I’ve read that they can be quite nasty, so I’ll keep my distance and admire them from afar.

I enjoyed listening to your lovely piano tunes. It’s a great way to ease into the new week and get it started on a happy note…in fact, on many happy notes. The set by George Winston was mighty pleasing to my ears and soothing to my soul, and I also enjoyed the batch of romantic piano ballads by various artists.

I hope you got my email about Mount Washington over the weekend. Brrrrr! 🙂 I have a new post running today and hope you can stop by and ride the Shady Train. FYI – I’ll be AWOL from the blog circuit most of the morning because I need to run errands, and I will catch up with you later.

I hope your week is off to a fine start. Thanks to you and this delightful piano recital, mine is too!

Have a super Monday and a safe and happy week ahead, dear friend Cathy!

    1. Tom,

Listening to soft piano music always puts in a mellow state. It’s great having these playlists going while I do other things and I’m happy you enjoyed the selections, too.

I did get the email you sent about Mount Washington’s record breaking lows this weekend. I surely appreciated that I wasn’t there with its scattering cold temperatures. Holy smoke, I just can’t imagine -108.4 (wind chill)! That’s something we won’t have to ever worry about in the south. 🙂

Thanks for dropping by to enjoy the music, my friend!
